Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center has a requirement to procure the following items: 4810-01-475-8271, 110? WPB 18? Diameter, Port Butterfly valve, quantity of 7 Assemblies with electric actuator & solenoid limit (open/close switches), and 4810-01-475-7855 110? WPB 18? diameter Starboard Butterfly valves, quantity of 7 assemblies, with electric actuator & solenoid limit (open/close switches).<BR> All items shall be manufactured in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Drawing number 110C WPB259-003-S and specification number P-259-0415, Revision 3, dated February 2004, for port and starboard application.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspDrawings are available via CD-ROM.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspNo hard copies of the drawing will be released from this office.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAll manufacturing details, including special accessories/features of each item are listed on the referenced drawing.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspItems are used on the 110? WPB Coast Guard vessels.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFirst Article Inspection/Approval and Quality Assurance Inspection shall be required for each item.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspDelivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. <BR> First Article Inspection shall be required no later than 60 days after award. Production items shall be required no later than 60 days after First Article Approval.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSources capable of manufacturing these items shall submit their request for a copy of the CD-ROM drawing via e-mail to swiedmann@elcbalt.uscg.mil or facsimile at (410) 762-6056 to the attention of Sue Wiedmann (No PO Boxes).&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspHard copies of the solicitation will not be issued.<BR> Any quotation submitted in response to this notice must be on the offeror?s letterhead and must include the following information; proposed delivery in days, warranty, pricing for individual packaged, and barcoding, the Tax Information Number and DUNS Number.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspOfferor must also fill out and return&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFAR Clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (June 2003).<BR> All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.<BR> This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR 2004. NAICS code for this solicitation is 332911 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
