- UPDATED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SYNOPSIS<BR> Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.      Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments.    Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER Estimated Date.    From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.<BR> <BR> NSN:    8405-01-510-3575(s)- This item is for the purchase of Coat, Man's Poly/Wool Blue Gabardine Shade 3346.    MIL-C-29107 dtd 07 Jun 89 and Pattern date 08 Jul 94. This will be a Best Value IDTC contract with the following evaluation factors. Product Demonstration Model (PDM's) Experience/Past Performance, and DLA Mentoring. The Minimum Quantity is for 6,012 and the Maximum Quantity is for 10,032, and the First Delivery Order Quantity will be for 1,380. There are 38 sizes with a production leadtime of 5 months for destination New Cumberland, PA. GFM price is $20.85.    This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Set-Aside purchase that will result in a firm fixed price contract.    Government Furnished Material (GFM) will be basic fabric Cloth Poly/Wool Gabardine Blue Shade 3346 (60").    Reference Numbered Notes 1, 9, and 26.          <BR> <BR>
