Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested from interested parties for the procurement of the following equipment:<BR> <BR> 110 each Mine Detector Set.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSet to consist of search head with telescoping carrying bar. Detector electronics with integrated non-magnetic loudspeaker, power supply and battery compartment. Automatic Power line suppression.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspPresswatertight&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspsearch head.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspMetal Alarm indicators: Visual LED bargraph, audio signal and silent vibrator in the hand grip. Metal detection in all soil and water conditions. Detector set to be supplied with soft carrying bag.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp<BR> <BR> The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference and are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspNo addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.246-15, (APR 1984), Certificate of Conformance. &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspNo additional FAR clauses apply.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor will be required to ship directly to Freight Forwarder in Miami, Florida or to the American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia by commerical air freight (Please quote both Miami and Bogota FOB delivery points).&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspPackaging, packing, and preservation shall be in accordance with best commercial practices to enable shipment to final destination without repacking or incurring damage during shipment and handling.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAll pricing shall be quoted FOB destination in Miami or Bogota, Colombia as indicated above.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAll bidders must be listed in the Central Contractor Registration at&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsphttp://www.ccr.gov/ for possible contract award consideration.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAward will be made based on the best value to the U.S. Government, price and technical considerations included.
