Description

A/E firm to provide all professional, technical, and investigative services to prepare working drawings, specifications, final inspections, as-built drawings and provide construction period services for "Replace Electrical Switchgear", at the DVA Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, Iowa.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis project shall include but not be limited to, the site preparation and replacement of this medical centers 13.8 KVA electrical switchgear, which was installed in 1972.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe proposed project will replace the electrical switchgear and metal housing with a new digitally controlled switchgear and weatherproof housing.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspNew switchgear will afford proper sequencing of loads as well as paralleling with the power utility company.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFirms selected will provide contract documents with architectural, mechanical and electrical to match footprintprovided.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspExisting architectural, structural and electrical components will require evaluation for replacement and/or size changes.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspEstimated construction cost range is between $500,00 to $1,000,000.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe area of consideration within a (150) mile radius of this facility.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFirms desiring consideration shall submit their qualifications and past performance on SF 254 and SF 255 no later than 3/18/04.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspNAICS Code is 541310 is applicable with a size standard of $4 million.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe fax no. is 319-339-7121.
