- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.    This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.    The solicitation number is W9124V-04-T-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).    SIC code is 2542, the NAICS code is 337215 and the size standard for both is less than 500 Employees.      The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18, Effective 12 January 2004 & Class Deviation 2003-o0003.    Offerors shall propose a fixed price for: (1) modular metal storag e systems; (2) shipping (FOB destination); and (3) installation, to equip the Montana Army National Guard Tool Programs new building (Building 1020, Fort Harrison, Helena, Montana).    Contractors interested in submitting an offer in response to this RFQ sho uld contact TSgt Kristen Jaumotte either by phone (406) 324-3411 or email at kristen.jaumotte@mt.ngb.army.mil to receive a copy of the drawing layout and performance specifications.      The modular tool storage units will contain shelves and drawers.    The co lor is high gloss aircraft grey.    The components shall be adaptable and versatile to meet the future needs of the Montana Army National Guard Tool Program.        The provision of FAR 52.212-3 and 52.212-3 Alt I, offeror Representations and Certifications-Comm ercial Items (July 2003) applies to this RFQ.      52.212-3 and 52.212-3 Alt I, the clause needs to be completed and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer.    52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (January 1999).    The Government wil l award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer s: Price, Technical Capability and Past Performance.    Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than cost or price.
