Description

The fiscal year 2004 (FY04) Defense Appropriations Act provides $3 million to the Department of Defense Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program (TSCRP) to support innovative research directed toward eliminating Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. This pr ogram is administered by the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command through the Office of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe TSCRP is releasing Program Announcements for three different funding mechanisms in FY04. T he name of each funding mechanism, its Program Announcement release date, and submission deadline are as follows: Idea Development Award, Concept Award, and Natural History Development Award were all released on 18 February 2004 with a submission deadline of May 04, 2004, 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Detailed descriptions of each of these funding mechanisms, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements can be found in the FY04 TSCRP Program Announcement corresponding to that funding mechanism. Each Program Ann ouncement can be downloaded from the CDMRP website (http://cdmrp.army.mil).&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAll applicants will be required to submit one electronic version of their proposal as a PDF file. All documents may be downloaded from the CDMRP website. The website also contains&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspfurther information about other CDMRP-sponsored programs and events.
