- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive small business set-aside basis a quantity of one (1) First Article and seventy-seven (77) BLU-116 Airframe Tubes utilizing a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Two Options including ranges of quantity of 25-175 units and First Article units for each Option will be included in the solicitation. The successful offeror shall be required to fabricate, inspect, test, and deliver the units in accordance with a Statement of Work (SOW) and a Drawing. One First Article unit shall be produced and tested prior to 18 weeks after contract award. First Article Inspection (FAI) tests shall include testing and inspection of all dimensional features defined in the Drawing. The remaining 77 units shall include production verification to be performed on each Airframe Tube including testing and inspection of all dimensional features defined in the Drawing. Delivery of the 77 units shall be no later than 6 months after award (or Option exercise for Option units). The Request for Proposal shall be issued on or about 08 Mar 2004 and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home pages at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm . The Drawing will not be available on-line and will be made available only upon request. The offeror is responsible for requesting a hardcopy of solicitation portions not on-line in sufficient time to permit receiving the hardcopy via U.S. Mail.
