Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Photon Research Associates Incorporated (PRA)to further development of the GeoServer imagery architecture.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspGeoServer is an integrated hardware and software product containing proprietary source code of PRA.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor will be required to modify its source code.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspIt is used to broker, archive, discover, exploit and desseminate geospatial information.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor will also be required to provide scientific expertise in spectral phenomenogoly, remote sensing, and imagery science.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspInterested parties have 10 days from this publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSuch qualifications/capabilities will be used soley for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspResponses received without the requested information may be considered non-responsive to this synopsis.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspA dtermination by NGA not to compete this proposed procurement on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this synopsis, it is solely within the discretion of NGA.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspPlease indicate business size.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspTim Hughes, Contracting Officer, Phone 703-735-3043, Fax 703-735-3965, Email hughesw@nga.mil
