Description

This procurement is intended as a sole source procurement to American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC), 121 Oronoco Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor is a professional association that has represents all 34 tribal colleges and universities since 1972.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor has prior experience and a unique knowledge of tribal colleges and universities, American Indian student transition issues, American Indian matriculation through higher education issues, professional development of American Indian teachers and federal grants.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractor&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspis the only source that can provide analytical services during the AIHEC Student Spring Conference to be held in Billings, MT from March 20-24.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe contractors prior experience and unique knowledge will permit the firm to produce the required deliverables in a timely manner to the government and the contractor brings important credibility and visibility to this study.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspInterested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the posted response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
