Description

NA J--The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials to overhaul the Digital Electronic Control Unit, CH-47. The Input/Output NSN: 2915-01-468-6108, Input/Output P/N: 2-170-560-07. The minimum quantity is 1 each, maximum quantity 312 each, applicable to the CH-47 aircraft. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The approved source is Goodrich Pump and Engine Control Systems (formally COLTEC) (CAGE 11599). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to comp ete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate’s Shopping List (CASL) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit reques t(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telep hone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by datafax to (256) 955-9220 or mailed only to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, Ernestine Small, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
