Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for conference services for the CMVP Meeting to be held in Rockville, Maryland on September 13-15, 2004. Through competitive procedures, it has been determined that the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Rockville, Maryland is the only vendor in the required area with enough space on the dates required. The Government shall award a fixed-price purchase order to the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center for meeting space, food services, and audiovisual equipment. FAR clauses and provisions referenced in this announcement may be downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far. This procurement is authorized by Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The procurement document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAR Circular 2001-18. FAR 212-4, Contracts Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contracts Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. This is not a request for quotations. A request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
