- Description
- 1.1 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE The contractor shall provide fully trained Passenger Service Security Force Protection Personnel, which are certified to meet requirements of Federal Aviation Authority regulation 108, 14cfr part 108, and Aviation Security requirements established by the German Ministry of the Interior (Bundes Innenministerium in Berlin). The contractor shall provide trained personnel, equipment, and supplies to conduct a full inspection, ensure overall security protection, and surveillance for personnel seeking entrance to the Ramstein Air Mobility Command Passenger Terminal. Also specified is the specific equipment to be provided by the government, and other pertinent information pertinent to this Description of Service. NOTE: Personnel performing tasks such as Aircraft Passenger Security Screening must meet stringent training criteria and the training program must be certified to comply with requirements established by the German Ministry of the Interior. This requirement cannot be waived. All security force personnel must be either a natural-born German, British or American citizen, and posses a security clearance as required by the German Ministry of the Interior or equivalent background investigation for personnel working in high risk, sensitive positions. Citizen of countries other than Germany, Britain, or the United States are not permitted to perform the services required of this contract. 1.2 LOCATION. Performance of this contract will be conducted at the 723 AMS Passenger Terminal, Ramstein AB Germany. 1.3 DUTY HOURS AND MANNING REQUIREMENTS. Security services are required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contractor shall provide adequate security force personnel for three shifts, the 2-day shifts consisting of 6 each personnel per shift, and 5 each for night shift. Under no circumstances will a security guard work longer than an 8 hour shift in a 24 hour period, without the approval of the (Contracting Officer Representative) COR. The entire security force will respond to the direction of Passenger Services management, or the designated alternate. The COR can only approve a change on a temporary basis, such as in the case where a security guard fails to show up for duty. A substitute security force member must report for duty within one hour after the contractor is advised the regular member is not available and able to perform prescribed duties. 1.4 PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS. All contract personnel shall be citizens of NATO member countries. Proof of citizenship will be shown to the COR prior to the employee beginning duties under this contract. PLEASE NOTICE!!!!
