Description

Request For Quotation RFQ –598-257-04 NAIC: 334613 Requests for Quotations are currently being accepted for ReWritable Optical Media. This proposed contract is set-aside for small business. DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide Sony 9.1 GB 5.25” Magneto Optical Media (EDM-9100B). The MOD (Magneto Optical Disk) used by the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System must be approved for use by the Silver Springs Group for use with VistA Imaging. VistA Imaging is a regulated (class II) medical device in accordance with the definition submitted by the Food and Drug Administration. Before VistA Imaging can be used for patient care (with special approval), all components of the system must undergo rigorous testing and verification for meeting performance measures. Sony has been the only MOD that has validated the quality of their product with the VistA Imaging team in Silver Springs. Remanufactured, refurbished, or repackaged product is not acceptable, only new, unused, Sony 9.21 MOD (Magneto Optical Disk) are acceptable. Quantity of 500 Each. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. Solicitation/RFQ 598-257-04 will be available 2/24/2004.
