- The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NSN: 2840-01-147-0462JF P/N: 9980M37G04 Noun: Aircraft Seal Item Description: Dimensions are as follows: Length 17.54 inches min 17.58 max. Width 6.16 min 6.20 inches max 5 holes .098 inches .102 inches max diameter, countersunk 98 min 102 max deg to .21 inches min .22 inches max diameter. Applicable to: F101 Engine Destination: FB2039 Delivery: January 2005 Estimated Qty: 94 Qty ranges will be solicited as follows: 50-100 and 101-151 Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 10 March 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 9 April 2004. The anticipated award date will be 30 April 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
