You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-L, Carol Hardage, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-842-7629. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. PRON: AX4Q0155AX, NSN: 5999-01-165-6533, PN: 1D49452-1, Quantity: 12 each to 100 each 5 year requirements applicable to the OH-58D Airframe, delivery to Texarkana, TX. Required delivery is 380 Days After Contract Award. This item is restri cted to DRS Optronics, Inc., Cage Code 32865 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowl edge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the approved source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that reco gnize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitati on; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
