Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and shall perform all work required to retrofit two Trane CVHE-112N-AQ-2501DEZC11DE1F000000 chillers for R-11 to R-123 Conversion at Fort Jackson, S C in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. All technicians shall comply with certification requirements of Section 608 of the Clean Air Act. All removed or recovered CFC's remain the property of the Government. Contractor must use specific recovery equipment and must have establis hed recovery procedures as required by EPA and packaging and labeling shall be in accordance with DOT Regulations. Contractor shall have retrofitted Trane Chillers a minimum of six years and/or minimum of ten Trane chillers for R-11 to 123 conversion prior to bid due date. Contractor shall complete all work within 90 days after commencement. This requirement is being considered for Small Business Set Aside. Interested small businesses shall certify and writing and provide evidence that they meet the above r equirement. If two or more small business bidders are found to meet the requirements above and certify in writing that they will bid on the requirement if it is set aside for small businesses, the requirement will be set aside for small businesses. If two or more bidders do not provide the written certifications, the requirement will be solicited at Unrestricted without further notice. Written Certifications shall be received within seven days after initial printing of the synopsis in order to be acceptable .
