Description

USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires the service to (1) design, develop and test a web-based user interface for LRPM that incorporates GIS data into the model; (2) design, develop and test a web-based application for ide ntifying and classifying roads and trails at a military installation based on their potential contribution to sedimentation within watersheds; and, (3) develop a database of applicable BMPs that apply to the construction and maintenance of U.S. Army traini ng ranges in an environmentally sustainable manner. The delivery date will be no later than 31 December 2004. The Contracts Office intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order with Information Systems for Education and Environment (ISEE) Inc. ISEE Inc developed the method to derive factor analysis from the GIS data layers for use in evaluating contributions of individual factors of soil erosion potential. Request for W9132T-04-T-0056 will be issued on or about 9 March 2004 with a closing date of 19 March 2004.
