Description

The work consists of the demolition of the existing rear entry, second floor stairway and landing and replacement of the office septic tank. The new construction consists of the construction of a new roof section that covers the back entry inclusive of the large HVAC unit and the construction of a new second floor landing and stairway. Also included will be concrete placement and finishing using cold weather practices. The stairway work will include metal framework, the roof section will include metal roofing and possibly a snow-melt system. The project is located at the main office of the Chemult RD. The Ranger District is located approximately 0.5 miles north of the community of Chemult, OR on US Highway 97. The community of Chemult is located on US Highway 97 approximately 73 miles north of Klamath Falls, OR., and 65 miles south of Bend, OR. The Government's estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is not a small business set-aside. Expected issue date is November 18. Due to unexpected circumstances this project is posted November 22, the due date for bids remains December 17, 2003 COB.
