Description
The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center is participating in the Fiscal Year 04 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program. The purpose of the SBIR program is to stimulate technological innovation, utilize small business to meet Federal Research and Development (R&D) needs, encourage participation by minority and disadvantaged businesses in technological innovation, and increase private sector commercialization of innovations derived from Federal R&D. Volpe directs the Department’s SBIR program for all DOT modals. They have released this year’s solicitation, with proposals due on May 3, 2004.
