Description
This is not an actual solicitation. This is for information ONLY! The US Navy is conduction a Market Research: For Technical Information Please contract: Joe Traugott (407)380-4295 or Neil MacMillian (407)380-8325 1. The US Navy is looking for sources that are capable of developing an intelligent tutoring system that can run in real time. The system would need to analyze student data while the student was using a third party simulation and give feedback versus pre-defined decision point parameters. Anticipated inputs from the training system simulation may include voice data, student actions, weapons system’s status, weapons system employment, radar processing information, sonar information, Identification Friend or Foe, and all relevant system inputs. The software must provide the student during the simulation specific instructions to accomplish the goals. The contractor must have an interface developed that will allow instructional parameters to be edited by a third party. The software must also be able to manage individual student accounts. Specifically desired is the ability to track and save performance data, as well as analyze and provide individual and group reports. The vendor would need to be familiar with both Intelligent Tutoring Systems and the integration effort required to make the Tutoring System integrate with a complex real time simulation. Contractor must have past experience working with U.S. Navy Shipboard Aegis weapons systems consoles simulation. Specifically, the Tactical Action Officer Console. The contractor must also be able to conduct an independent Training Situation Analysis on the targeted watch station. 2.
