Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and the reference number is FA4497-04-Q-0004. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 327993 and the size standard is 750 employees. Contractor is required to provide: INSULATION, QUILTED, MIL SPEC: MIL-I-7171, TYPE 1, CLASS 2, STYLE A, SIZE 1/2" X 50" X 50YD, COLOR: BLUE -25414, 1" X 3" DIAMOND STITCHED, FLIGHT INSULATION ORCON PART NO: 63068 OR EQUAL ITEM, QTY: 5 ROLLS. USED ON C-5 AIRCRAFT FOR DUCT INSULATION. MUST MEET MILITARY SPECIFICATIONS. All quotes shall include pricing for F.O.B. destination to Dover AFB, DE. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items.
