Description

This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The California National Guard intends to purchase 2 each truck body upgrades for 2 (2001 Chevrolet model 3500) trucks, specificati ons are to be as follows: 2 each Ctec body (part #9843-VCT-95) or equivalent, 2 each SS-FW-98 Superstructures or equivalent (specs are as follows): structure top to be 31 inches high, full width, double doors, no windows, (4) single lift-up doors, (2) eac h side of structure top, each compartment to have a 24 inch I.D. height, each compartment to have a 6 inch high pullout tray, the tray shall pull out & set down at a 45 degree angle without removal of tray, each compartment to have a partition divided into 4 equal compartments. 4 each (2 per vehicle) rollout drawers 2.5 inches high with no dividers, 150 lb. capacity mounted high in streetside horizontal compartment, 4 each (2 per vehicle) front compartments, both sides to have a 7 inch drop down with front doors full height of compartments, 4 each (2 per vehicle) rollout trays, 105lb. capacity mounted on curbside front (1) mounted 21 inches from top opening, & (1) mounted as low as possible, 2 each 400 watt power inverters (ship to shore) plug, with 2 elect rical weatherproof outlets one on each end of body on streetside power inverter to be installed in front streetside compartment customer to supply inverter location, extra battery & isolator, 2 each clearcoat paint dark blue, 2 each legal light package, 2 each recessed bumpers, 2 each 12-volt heater installed at front bulkhead with cab controls inside bed area with ducking holes along compartment sides & structures top to keep all compartments warm, vendor to remove & return customer pick-up bed. This equi pment is located in Hayward, California. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR).
