Description

With the upgrade of the CWS the Marine Corps also needs a miniature display for the thermal sight that can be incorporated into the CWS with minimum interference with the Tank Commander?s space and operation. The Marine Corps is investigating various displays technologies that could potentially be used in the CWS to display the second-generation thermal imagery. The miniature display must integrate into the existing CWS and not degrade the performance of the Tank Commander or the M1A1. Written responses should be submitted not later than close of business 27 March 2004. Firms should also include literature, brochures, and capabilities summaries directly addressing their ability to meet the aforementioned needs.
