Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for a contractor to provide a facility for IBM WebSphere Classroom Training for SSA employees. THE REQUIREMENT IS FOR A FACILITY ONLY; NOT TRAINING. The facility must be within a 15 mile radius of SSA?s headquarters,located at 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235 and provide adequate parking. The facility must be equipped with a minimum of fourteen (14) student PCs and one (1) instructor PC. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price, requirements contract with a period of performance consisting of one (1) year. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 531120 and the size standard for this code is $6M. This requirement is being set aside 100% for small business. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. SSA-RFQ-04-0206 will be available for downloading on or about March 4, 2004 from the Federal Procurement Website at www.fedbizopps.gov. See numbered note 1. Offers received from other than small business sources will not be considered.
