PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENTS CLASS CODE: Z-Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Real Property OFFADD: USDA, ARS, FMO, BA Purchasing Section, 10300 Baltimore Ave. Bldg 003 Rm 321, Beltsville, Maryland 20705-2350 SUBJECT: Repair/Replace the Flat Roof on Bldg 009 Greenhouse SOL: ROOF009 DUE: 03-30-04 DESC: This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This project is restricted to HUBZONE Set aside small business concerns only. This job is to be completed 30 days after receiving Written Notice to Proceed by the Contracting Officer. All work shall be in compliance with Statement of Work, Special Conditions part II, clauses, wage rate MD030057 mod 1, cited spec, codes, drawings and Government forms, all will be available for you to download on or about March 13, 2004 from the website http://www.fedbizopps.gov no documentation will be mailed. The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, shipping and supervision to repair/replace the Flat Roof on Building 009 greenhouse in accordance with the Statement of work and specifications. Magnitude of project this is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for March 23, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. meeting in front of building 009 Baltimore Ave, Beltsville, MD. The NAICS Code for this project is 238160 and the annual standard size of $12.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered the most advantageous to the Government considering price and other factors. The anticipated award date is April 9, 2004.
