MODIFICATION ***** MODIFICATION ***** MODIFICATION***** MODIFICATION****** ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supplies, materials, equipment, supervision, training, and management (unless specified in Statement of Work), by providing guard services protection (and related services) for personnel, property, facilities, and land at U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. One main gate will be manned 8 (EIGHT) hours a day, 5 (FIVE) days a week. Contractor will be required to furnish his or her own handcuffs, holders, flashlights, batteries, uniforms, etc. (Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes, activities, and quantities necessary for the completion of this project before quoting. )*****NOTE: AWARD IS PENDING FUNDS AVAILABILITY ***** GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: misc. items and utilities, not including long distance telephone calls. Government will provide portable communications equipment and two copies of the ISC Kodiak, Military Police Standard Operating Procedures. In addition, the Government will provide a Guardhouse, limited office space, and parking for employee?s at no cost. Performance Period: 1 year contract, with options. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: Proof of license as a Security Guard company by the State of Alaska. Personnel performing work as security guards shall be licensed as private security guards in accordance with Alaska Administrative Code Title 13, Chapter 60. Additional requirements are listed in Statement of Work. YOU MUST BE A LICENSED SECURITY GUARD COMPANY IN THE STATE OF ALASKA, TO BE CONSIDERED A RESPONSIBLE BIDDER. References from at least three similar contracts performed in the last three years shall be furnished. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY March 8, 2004.
