Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medcaid Services (CMS), requires a performance-based, speciality contract utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to produce, package, and distribute audio-digital recording copies of an average of 8 to 10 new and/or revised Medicare publications in English and Spanish in the base-year and each succeeding year within an optional-year contract, June 1, 2004 - May 31, 2007. Pending receipt of all internal clearances and approvals. This is a time and material order, (however CMS reserves the right to place another type of order). Listed as the first task-order required in the based-year of this contract, is the audio production of the English and Spanish Medicare and You 2005 handbook. Other task-orders to record additional Medicare publications will be regularly scheduled throughout the base year and two optional years. Production of the audio-digital recording of the English Medicare and You 2005 handbook will begin in mid- June, 2004 and close in mid-September, with the delivery of an estimated 13,500 sets of the Medicare and You 2005 handbook.
