Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna,Florida, is soliciting a contractor to provide non-personal services as a Computer Refurbishing V.T. Instructor. The offeror must be a qualified computer technician or teacher, certified by any technical school or State Department of Education, with one year's experience teaching the subject area. The resulting contract will be for a base period, not to exceed seven months, with two one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The number of one hour sessions is estimated at 279, depending on the actual date of award. The solicitation will be available on or around March 03, 2004 and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http:/www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning the acquisition, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
