Description

The Government is seeking interested sources to replace existing potable water meter with strainer and isolation valves in the south meter pit at Green Lane Housing in Middletown, RI. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This contract is less than $25,000. The NAICS Code is 238220 and the size standard is $12 million. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. The approximate solicitation release date is 10 January 2004. All laborers, supervisors and inspectors shall be at the minimum qualified level within the specifications. All Safety plans, preventive maintenance schedules as well as other required documentation will be submitted as outlined within the specifications. All documents will be in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view .pdf files can be downloaded from the Adobe website www.adobe.com. The official access to the solicitation is via the Internet. The website address is http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All contractors are required to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC e-sol website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. All contractors must be registered on the Central Contractors registration website www.ccr.gov. All quotes must be sent by mail or in person.
