- Notice of intent to issue RFQ on a sole source basis to Microwave Instrumentation Technologies, LLC Duluth, GA , for 1 ea Synthesized Signal Source, P/N: MI-301. Item is needed to replace outdated signal source currently used at antenna test range. Below is listed the required specifications needed to perform required measurements and to interface with current range equipment: Manufacturer: MI Technologies (All equipment presently used on the range is from this source) Frequency Range: 0.04 to 12.0 Ghz (3101 spec is 0.01 Ghz to 20 Ghz) Frequency switching time: 1 millisecond Frequency resolution: 1,000 Hz (3101 spec is 0.1 Hz) Frequency accuracy: +- 1,000 Hz (3101 spec is 0.2 Hz) Output impedance: 50 ohms RF Output power: + 15 dBm Level Drift: less than 0.05 dB/hour Spectural purity, 2 to 20 Ghz, harmonic level: -60 dB Remote interface: IEEE STD 488.2 Operating temperature: 0 - 40 degrees C (3101 spec is 0 - 55 degrees C) Project is for Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, CA. A non-competitive procurement is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award anticipated to be made by March 8, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
