- This notice is amended to read a period of performance of up to 6 months. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of a notice of intent to award a modification for sustainment effort in support of the Contractor Supported Weapon System (CSWS) to extend support from 31 Mar 04 thru 30 Sep 04. This will be a modification to task order FA8770-01-F-8029, issued to CSC, 2600 Paramount Place Fairborn, OH 45324, in accordance with GSA Contract GS35F4381G. The contractor will continue sustainment efforts and resolve Deficiency Reports (DRs) for the Contractor Supported Weapon System Data Exchange (CSWS DE). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source task order modification to CSC to continue the sustainment effort for a period of up to six months. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for either the effort or associated costs to respond or for the information provided. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). An acquisition Ombudsman, Lt Col Charles Brackenhoff, MSG/PK, has been appointed the Ombudsman to hear concerns from the contractor during proposal development. The Ombudsman should only be contacted with issues or problems that cannot satisfactorily be resolved with the Program Manager and/ or Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
