Now is the time to develop the huge government market, and discover what federal, state and local agencies and prime contractors are looking for both in quality and types of products and services. During ALLIANCE NEW ENGLAND, April 21 at the Worcester Centrum Centre in Worcester, MA, small disadvantaged, women and minority-owned businesses, HUBZone, veteran-owned and small businesses in general businesses have the opportunity to meet and network with over 80 federal, state and local agencies, major purchasers and other companies that can provide services and products for established companies. This one-day format packs a tremendous amount of information into eight hours with workshops, trade show, networking and scheduled ?matchmaking meetings?. Workshops will help businesses discover ?How to get on the GSA Federal Supply Schedule, and what to do once you?re there?; ?What Prime Contractors are looking for in small businesses?; and the ?Programs Available for Women-owned Businesses and Veteran-Owned Businesses?. Attendees can also schedule additional ?MatchMaking Meetings?, which are 15-minute, one-on-one meetings with at least one agency or prime contractor of their choice. Participants include several agencies within the US Navy, US General Services Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, US Small Business Administration, US EPA, state offices of New England states, US Army Corps of Engineers and many others. Information on location, event hours, registration cost, exhibitor cost, hotel accommodations, cancellation and how to register follow: EVENT HOURS: Registration begins at 7:00 am, Opening Remarks begins at 8:00, The event runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. PARKING: Parking in the garage is $6 per day (no in and out access) REGISTRATION COST: $95 per person till 3/19/04 ( $120 till 4/16/04, $140 on-site), includes Exhibitor Directory, admission to all educational sessions, networking opportunities within the trade fair, continental breakfast and lunch and at least one scheduled 15-minute meeting with a purchasing agency. Payment must be made in full (excluding government agencies) to be eligible for the early rates. EXHIBITOR COST: $300 Government Agency and Non-Profit Agencies, $425 Small Businesses; $600 Corporate and Large Business. Fee includes an 8? x 10? booth space and 8? high back drape, 3? side drape. It also includes one 6? x 24? covered table, two chairs, 2 luncheon tickets, a 7? x 44? identification sign, admission to all sessions for booth personnel and a copy of the exhibitor directory and a complete list of all participants. Electrical and phone line charges are additional. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: A block of rooms have been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Worcester Hotel, 10 Lincoln Sq, Worcester, MA, 01608. The block will be released April 5th so RESERVE EARLY. CANCELLATION: Cancellations, if received in writing, will be accepted until March 19th, 2004, with a full refund minus 30% handling fee.
