Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days of the solicitation issuance will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR LINE ITEM 0001: Kit composed of the following part numbers: P/N 2172M32P01 tube and hose, fuel IGV actuator, 2172M33G01 tube, fuel – inlet IGV actuator, reset, 2172M30G01 tube, fuel – inlet IGV actuator, drain, 2172M34G01 support bracket, 2171M62P01 support bracket, 1534M79G01 support bracket, AN960C416L washer, 9610M50P03 nut (2 each), J626P03 nut, J645P13A machine bolt (2 each), MS9557-24 bolt, MS9556-12 bolt, MS9556-14 bolt, 1153M37G31 clamp, 1153M64G11 clamp, 1153M26G12 clamp, J644P13A machine bolt, J644P34A machine bolt and J630P02 slf lkg nut. Applicable to: F110 GE 100 Engine Destination: FB2039 Estimated Qty: 801 EA Due Date: 36 per month beginning October 2004 NO VIQ ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR LINE ITEM 0002: Kit composed of the following part numbers: 2171M26P01 tube and hose, fuel IGV actuator, 2171M31G01 angle bracket, 2171M62P01 support bracket, 2172M30G01 tube, fuel – Inlet IGV actuator, drain, 1542M52G15 electric bracket, MS9557-24 bolt, 1153M37G31 Clamp, MS9489-06 bolt, J645P13A bolt (2 each) and J626P03 nut. Applicable to: F110 GE 129 Engine Destination: FB2039 Estimated Qty: 281 EA Due Date: 13 per month beginning October 2004 NO VIQ The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 19 March, 2004. The response date will be approximately 30 days after the issuance. The anticipated award date will be 30 May 2004. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. SOLE SOURCE To: General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati OH. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
