- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a requirements type contract for Descale solution in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Various packaging requirements ie., jugs, totes, drums and gallons will be requested. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325998 and the size standard is 500 employees. This procurement will be awarded utilizing FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. Delivery location: FOB Destination – Bremerton, WA. Inspection and Acceptance will be at destination.The performance period is for a base year plus 2 one-year option periods. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued approximately 10 Feb 2004. When issued, the RFQ will be posted electronically via the NECO website at www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, 3) manufacturer information of proposed item must be provided and 4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov).
