Description

This project involves reconstruction activities on Forest Road 20 on the Applegate Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. It includes all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary to complete the following: Base item and two (2) option items. The Base Item consists of a chip seal over existing pavement (5.58 miles), reconditioning and double chip seal of existing gravel road (0.06 miles). Option item 1 extends the road bed reconditioning/double chip seal 0.11 miles and Option item 2 includes fog sealing the entire project (5.75 miles). Price Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about March 29, 2004. Bid bond required. Performance and payment bonds (100 percent each) will be required after award. Contract time is 45 calendar days. Note: A prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
