- 11th Contracting Squadron/LGCN, Bolling AFB DC, intends to award on a sole source basis purchase request number F4010140290300 with Avid Technology Inc., 1101 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. This acquisition is for Media Composer Upgrade equipment and software as follows: 1 ea. Meridien 3 Base Board, 3D I/F Board & 3D Connector 1 ea. Z6 3D Board 1 ea. HP xw8000 3.06 GHz Dual Processor CPU with 1GB RAM, Windows XP Pro w/SP1, 80GB Hard Drive, nVidia Quadro4 980 XGL Card, DVD-ROM/CDRW Combo Drive (open market item) 1 ea. HP xw8000 Conversion Kit 1 ea. Custom PC Keyboard 2 ea. 512MB RAM PC 1 ea. 2Gb Copper Fibre Controller 1 ea. Single Display Controller 1 ea. Cactus 2 Rev B 8 ea. MediaDrive rS146/320 LVD 1 ea. On-site Installation (Media Composer upgrade and 2 Xpress software upgrades) 1 ea. Unity Upgrade Installation Media Composer System ID 1417807165, Dongle 542053 Award date is expected to be on or about 8 Mar 04. This will be a FFP award and the NAICS Code assigned to this requirement will be 541519. The requirement will be purchased under Avid Technology’s GSA schedule contract number GS35F0638J, as they are the manufacturer and sole source provider of Avid editing systems. This requirement is for AFPCA/COMT 1600 Air Force Pentagon, Washington DC 20330-1600. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. (See note 22).
