- THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The NAICS Code is 611430 with a size standard of $6.0 mil. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement for presentation of NIST calibration and metrology training using NIST materials as a part of the Weights and Measures Division (WMD), laboratory Metrology Group; and instruction on training techniques to be used with technical professionals to new assistant trainers. The specific tasks are described in the Statement of Work included in the Solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this project will be issued on or about March 8, 2004 , utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will be from April 19, 2004 through November 19, 2004, 2004. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order on or about April 1, 2004. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to Barbara.guise@nist.gov. All small businesses may submit a proposal for consideration by the agency.
