Description

NA This acquisition is for spare parts/systems for the AN/ARS-6(V) Personal Locator set (PLS) which is a set of airborne electronic equipment (Avonics) designed to quickly and precisely locate downed airmen who are equipped with the AN/PRC-112 survival radio. A non-competitive negotiation is proposed with Cubic Defense System (CDS), San Diego, CA, for a firm fixed price, three year Requirements type contract. CDS is the only firm that possesses the manufacturing capability and the technical data necessary to provide the Government with goods that will perform its intended function. The estimated quantity for this purchase is up to 50 each Receiver Transmitter (RT)-1523A, National Stock Number (NSN) 5821-01-251-8685; up to 25 each RT-1532, NSN 5821-01-245-9095 ; up to 100 each Control Display Unit, NSN 5895-01-236-8964; up to 75 Remote Display Unit, NSN 5821-01-245-9067, up to 75 Audio Frequency Switching Group, NSN 5821-01-251-8683; up to 25 each AN/ARS-6(V)2, NSN 5821-01-252-5441; and up to 10 AN/ARS-6(V)3, NS N 5821-01-251-9556.
