- Description
- Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed-price contract with Harris Corporation, 1680 University Ave. Rochester NY 14610 for a quantity of thirty-two (32) each of the following items: (1) PRC-138 Shock Mount Assembly (PN 10372-0800-06); (2) Shock Mount, Single Unit (PN 10181-9800-02). These parts are required to mount Harris radios currently fielded in the Direct Air Support Central (DASC) and the Tactical Air Command Center (TACC). Harris Corporation is the only known manufacturer of these parts. No solicitation is available for competitive bidding; however, parties who feel they can supply the items above are encouraged to submit a statement of capability and pricing information in writing to the Contracting Officer by 19 April 2004. Information will be used solely to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Numbered Note 22 applies.
