Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ), and the reference number is FA4497-04-Q-0005. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333912; size standard is 500 employees.Contractor is required to provide: all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, material, and all other items and service necessary to provide a complete SCBA Breathing Air Cylinder Refill System. See the attached extended description. All quotes shall include pricing for F.O.B. destination to Dover AFB, DE. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial items, is applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. No written request for quote is available. Award will be made based on best value.
