- Description
- Provide all supervision, material and labor necessary to modify mission systems on the NOAA Ship HI’IALAKAI the ex-Navy VINDICATOR (T-AGOS 3). All work is to be performed at the Offeror’s facility. Performance period to commence approximately 09 June, 2004 and complete on or before 04 August, 2004. The work consists of approximately 5 basic items and 5 optional items. Basic work includes; Temporary Services, Drydock the ship, Fabricate and Install Transducer Fairing, Install GFE Multibeam Sonar System and Replace Main Mast. The vessel will be available for inspection April 5-16, 2004 at NOAA’s Pacific Marine Center, Seattle WA. Vessel particulars are: Overall Length - 224' 0", Beam Molded - 43' 0", Draft Design - 15' 0", Depth to Main Deck - 20' 0", Displacement - (FL) 2283 LT, Displacement - (LS) 1489 LT, Gross Tonnage 1914 G.T., Shafts - 2, Speed Sustained - 11 knts. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The Request for Proposals will be issued approximately 1 April, 2004 on the FedBizOpps website. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, offerors must "register to receive notification" as well as registering as an "interested vendor" on the FedBizOpps website for the mentioned presolicitation notice. Upon release of the solicitation to the webside, the FedBizOpps will email registered vendors.
