- PLEASE NOTICE!!!! THIS POSTING IS A RFQ (REQUEST FOR QUOTE) CLOSING DATE, MON 08 MAR 04 (CONTRACTOR'S TIME) STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) MANUFACTURE CABLES FOR MILSTAR TERMINAL 1. SCOPE OF WORK 1.1. SERVICES NON-PERSONAL: The contractor shall provide all parts, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and personnel necessary to provide interconnect cables for a mobile Milstar Command Post terminal. 1.2. Describe accurately the essential and technical requirements for the needed services: The Ramstein satellite communications facility will undergo a major renovation beginning in May 04. As a result, all missions resident in building 494 must be relocated prior to 1 May 2004. To move our Milstar mission, we must build interface cables to extend user services to the alternate location. The following cables are required: a. RJ4 to J13 on Red Interface Panel (Printer) b. RJ2 to J11 on Red Interface Panel (Keyboard Display) c. BJ1 to J3 on TAC (Black Ports 1-4 and ANDVT Control Group 1-4) d. BJ3 to J12 on TAC (Black Ports 5-8) J8 (Power 120VAC to wall outlet with NEMA 5-15 plug--15 Feet) 1.3. All services shall be accomplished in accordance with the best commercial practices. Indicate, describe, and define contractor's responsibility: Cables must be manufactured and tested using all applicable Milspecs governing Milstar terminals. (See attached PDF file). 1.4. Services as required shall be performed only by qualified personnel specially trained for the services required. 1.5. Location of Performance: Ramstein AB, Germany. 2. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/LAWS PECULIAR TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICE. 2.1. Government's Responsibilities: Funding. 2.1.1. List all tasks, services, or materials the government will provide: N/A. 3. HOURS OF OPERATION 3.1.1. Normal hours of operation are from 0700 through 1630 Monday through Friday except on recognized "HOST COUNTRY HOLIDAYS". 3.1.2.
