Description
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures” (48 CFR Part 13), the United States Department of Commerce is providing widespread notice of this acquisition opportunity and is requesting quotes to provide technical advising services for World Trade Organization (WTO) related matters for the Government of Albania. The Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) is seeking a contractor to provide technical assistance on WTO accession and post-accession related matters and trade liberalization in Albania. The specific task is described in the Statement of Work, is included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ, SA1301-04-RQ-0034, is being issued utilizing FAR 13 procedures. Work will be performed in the US and Moldova. The period of performance will be from April 5 2004 through November 30, 2004. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 541199 and a size standard of $6.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by CLDP. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is attached and will only be available on FEDBIZOPPS at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available. Potential offerors are required to submit all questions in writing to Su Chang, Contract Specialist, via email at Schang@doc.gov. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov.
