- Description
- The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AO) intends to contract for Computer Assisted Legal Research (CALR) Services to provide online services including computerized access to complete legal, news/journals/business, public record and related information databases with full-text search and retrieval capability within individual databases and across databases. Access to these services shall be provided through vendor web products and proprietary vendor software. The CALR services shall include complex search and retrieval functions and also special services including citator service and citation checking; access to secure, responsive, available systems; and other related support services as described in the solicitation. This requirement will support the needs of the federal judiciary at any location within the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and Mariana Islands. The judiciary plans to award one or two primary contract(s) under this solicitation for unlimited usage of CALR services for all federal judiciary users at a fixed monthly price for all mandatory databases plus any other databases or services the offeror proposes to include in the fixed monthly price. Additionally, the judiciary may award one or two supplemental contracts at a transactional basis for the provision of restricted or proprietary products and services offered outside the fixed monthly fee, that are determined to be necessary by the judiciary. Contracts as a result of this solicitation will include options to extend the term of the contract up to a total of 10 years (120 months).
