Description
Authority Cited10 U.S.C.2304 c1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Wiesbaden Contracting Center intents to issue a modification to existing contract DAJA22-02-D-0012 to add four (4) each Rear Detachment Commander Course (RDC) to be taught at the resident training site Combined Arms Training Center in Vilseck, Germany. Th e first RDC course is scheduled to be taught starting 12 to 15 April 2004 and the remaining 3 each to take place during the period 01 May 2004 to 30 Sept. 2004. Description of Services - The Rear Detachment Commander Course (RDC) is designed to familiarize RDCs with the roles and responsibilities of their positions. Areas of discussion are : Human Dimension Part I and II, including subjects Family Advocacy/Crisi s Management, Family Readiness Groups, Suicide Prevention, R&R, Casualty/Susrvivor Assistance, Mortuary Affairs and Unit Ministry. Logistics for the RDC, including subjects Supply Management. Maintenance Management, Physical Security and Reintegration. P ersonnel Actions, including subjects Pay & Allowances, Promotions/Evaluations, MEB/MMRB. Force Management, including subjects, training Management and Reintegrtation. Further subjects for discussion are Legal and Public Affairs/Web Navigation. Instructor qualification: Candidates must be qualified instructors with at least one year of experience as small group instructors. They must understand Army training and have a working knowledge of experiential learning. Facilitators must have served i n Army Europe as OICs or NCOICs at staff levels of Battalion or higher. Those parties interested are required to submit their statement of qualifications and price proposal on or before 14.00hrs CET, 12 March 2004.
