Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a modification to the Automatic Data Processing, Demand Assigned Multiple Access, and Common Avionics Flight Deck Communications Capabilities with Weight and Space Savings (ADWS) contract for the procurement of ICS support services and diagnostic software for network testing to The Boeing Company (Wichita) on a sole source basis. This award is based on Code Section 2304 (c)(1), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available, and no formal requests for proposal (RFP) or other solicitation regarding this announcement is currently available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. GENERAL INFORMATION: As the prime contractor, The Boeing Company is the original designer, manufacturer, and integrator of the ADWS into the E-6B. The proposed procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price Effort whereby the contractor will provide complete technical and testing support to meet the needs of all E-6B aircraft. The contractor will be accountable for helping maintain the entire inventory of E-6B ADWS aircraft throughout the duration of the contract which ends in FY06. The contract will provide for payment to the contractor of a firm fixed price modification.
