Description

Notice intent to award a sole source contract. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302, the USA Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract with Klockner Packaging Machin ery, 5501 N. Washington Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34243 on a sole source basis. The contract will be for various parts to replace and rebuild carryover conveyors on the M291 Decon Lines. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonostrates their ability to meet the Government's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitte d to USA Robert Morris Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division, 10-020 Kabrich Circle, ATTN: AMSRD-ACC-P, Elaine Nelson, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the G overnment. See Note 22.
