- DUE TO SYSTEM FAILURE, THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS, DEVENS FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED IN AYER, MASSACHUSETTS, INTENDS TO ISSUE A SOLE-SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE UPGRADE PROGRAMING OF THE FUJI FCR 5000 CR CASSETTE READER. DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: Information processor workstation. This item will act as the interface between the Fuji FCR 5000 CR cassette reader and the Picker Radworks PACS system. This item must have the following options. -. the ability to perform patient ID , image processing and image transmission between the FCR 5000 and the Radworks System. -Quick image previews -hardware including desktop CPU, keyboard, barcode reader and 15 in touch screen LCD monitor. -Software features to include main application software for patient ID and QA,DICOM work list management , QC adjustment to include image reprocessing, sensitivity and density and contrast, DRC image processing for visibility of both dense and peripheral tissue, technologist editing tools, and text file download of patient reject analysis. - The requested system must have any license that is required to perform the print function from the workstation to the existing laser imager. -The requested system must have all licenses required to enable DICOM compliant image communication of either a processed or unprocessed FCR 5000 image to the Picker PACS. This software must also enable image transmission of DICOM unprocessed with private tags, which is used with Synapse PACS form maximum reprocessing functionality at the PACS work station. -A FCR5000-Series N/W I/F Board Type 2 for the communication between the FCR 5000 and the requested workstation. - Additional applications days must be requested because of the new technology of the system. These application days will be for the Radiology department staff and other Health Services staff that need the training. -All software upgrade that are needed to get the FCR 5000 CR Readers software compatible with the requested system. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE QUOTATIONS, HOWEVER, SHOULD A FIRM DESIRE TO SEND INFORMATION IN REGARD TO THIS NOTICE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.
