Description

This project consists of demolition, construction and reconstruction activities at the Union Creek Campground on the Prospect Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The work includes all labor, equipment, materials supplies, supervision and incidentals necessary to complete the following items. The Base Item consists of demolition of existing restroom structure and related appurtenances; construction of a new toilet structure and then connecting to existing water, electric, and septic systems; asphalt; sidewalk; construct new gray water sump system and water hydrant; construct a new water line from the Union Creek water system to Farewell Bend campground and re-plumbing the existing water treatment plant at Farewell Bend Campground; install a Government Furnished control panel; reconstruct the Union Creek campground roads (grind existing and resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt) and related construction work. The Option Item includes removal of existing vault toilets and replacing with new vault toilets in the Union Creek campground along with accessible trails, and abandoning an existing well to State Standards. Price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about March 26, 2004. Bid bond required. Performance and payment bonds (100 percent each) will be required after contract award. Contract completion date is 5/1/2005.
