Description

This project consists of the construction of two new 2-lane, approximately 100' long concrete bridges and associated approaches ro replace existing culverts. Work includes but is not limited to clearing, temporary bridge placement & removal, dewatering, excavation & embankment, channel bed construction, riprap, pre-drilling, pile-driving, concrete, girder placement, railing, crushed base, asphalt and other associated work. Work in the stream channel is limited to July 1st thru September 30th. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about April 2, 2004. Estimated start work date is on or about June 1, 2004. Contract work time is approx 120 days. The Government's estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is totally set-aside for HUBzone small business concerns. The solicitation will be issued utilizing the sealed bid method.
